(TOWNSHIP OF HADDON, NJ) – The Ritz Theater Company present Falsettos from January 14 to 23. The hilarious, heartbreaking and utterly unique musical was written by William Finn and James Lapine. Falsettos revolves around the life of a charming, intelligent and neurotic gay man named Marvin, his wife, his lover, his son about to be Bar-Mitzvahed, their psychiatrist and the lesbians next door.

The play is a hilarious and painfully poignant look at the endless possibilities that make up a modern family … and a beautiful reminder that love can tell a million stories. The Ritz production is directed by Al Fuchs with musical direction by André Vermeulen.

The cast includes: John Baccaro as Marvin; Craig Hutchings as Mendel; Erica Harr as Trina; Thomas Smith as Whizzer; Corey Apelt as Jason; Missy O’Brien as Dr. Charlotte; and Jodi O’Connor as Cordelia.

Falsettos premiered on Broadway in 1992 and was nominated for seven Tony Awards, winning those for Best Book and Best Original Music. It was relaunched on Broadway in 2016.

Under the updated policy, effective January 14, all members of the public aged 5 and over will be required to prove that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 when entering the Ritz. Full immunization status means that on the date of the performance, a guest is at least 14 days away from their second dose of an approved two-dose COVID-19 vaccine OR at least 14 days away from their single dose of a single approved vaccine. assay the COVID-19 vaccine.

Exceptions will be made for unvaccinated individuals who bring ONE of the following documents upon arrival at the theater: A negative COVID-19 PCR test performed by a medical provider within 72 hours of the show start time. The test results must clearly show the date and time of the test OR a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test performed within 6 hours of the performance start time. The test results should clearly indicate the date and time of the test. Children under 5 are exempt from the aforementioned vaccination / test result requirements, but must wear masks inside the building.

Additionally, starting February 1, all actors, production craftsmen and staff at the Ritz will be required to provide proof of having received an approved COVID-19 recall.
