Hyderabad: The older brother of Telugu film star Mahesh Babu, actor turned producer Ramesh Babu, died on Saturday at the age of 56 after a long illness.

The eldest son of famous Telugu actor and former MP, Ghatamaneni Siva Rama Krishna, Ramesh Babu started acting at the age of 12 and has gone on to star in films such as “Bazaar Rowdy” and “Mugguru Kodukulu” in a memorable way. , but he eventually became a producer and will be remembered for “Arjun” as well as for the two comedies presented by him, “Dookudu” and “Aagadu”.

Ramesh Babu’s remains were deposited in the Padmalaya studios on Sunday from 11 a.m. for people to pay their last respects. The last rites will take place in Mahaprasthanam around noon.
