Sean Focus and Zimbabwean music producer Verseless team up on new song “Arikuda Ndiani – Malawi 24

UK based rapper Sean Focus is back with another and this time he teams up with fellow Zimbabwean producer Verseless to deliver a flawless Amapiano hit.

Both hailing from the same motherland, Zimbabwe, the sound is so unique and transcendent.

The inspiration behind the new song comes from the love for House and Amapiano music.

“The Arikuda Ndiani part came after Gilbert and I, mostly like doing the dance with the boys like you see in TikToks – We put our hands up and then sang ‘ARIKUDA NDIANI’. So that was super exciting to find a song to apply that to,” says Sean Focus.

“I contacted Verseless in Zimbabwe, he’s a really great established producer. I asked him to send me some shots. After he did, we just ping-ponged the files from of the.

“Fun fact: that beat wasn’t the first beat, he had to do it again after he heard my chorus and stuff. Then when I got the new beat, I added “Arikuda Ndiani” and the banger was done.”

He adds, “This is my first Amapiano song to be released and it’s looking good so far. I think maybe I should release the other collection of Amapiano songs that I have”.

The Scotland-based rapper has been making moves in the UK rap scene and has received significant support from BBC 1Xtra, Apple Music Radio, Capital Xtra and the BBC. versions.

Gwinyai Peter Tawanda Runyowa popularly known by Verseless is a Zimbabwe born music producer.

Originally known as DJ Philo or Philo, he changed his name to Verseless in 2015 after feeling he had transcended his music to another level.

A creative thinker through his art, his sound draws from his original African heritage with Hip-Hop, Electro, House, Pop, Drum and Bass influences.
