Producer Aims To ‘Heal The World’ With New Beat | Entertainment

With much uncertainty in the world with the ongoing pandemic, producer Sekou Brown hopes to reassure music lovers that things will eventually get back to normal, with his beat Heal the World.

The project, which is his first production, was released on April 29 and consists of inspirational songs from newcomers and established acts. Released by Tree Leaf Entertainment, Heal the World rhythm features the title track from the iconic reggae artist Sizzla, Victory by Luciano, with Bam Rush, Cherish my love by Turbulence, The warning by Nature Ellis, and Yashua by Gerald Boreland.

As a beginner, it was not difficult for Brown to get artists involved.

“Every project will have its ups and downs because it’s part of the human experience. However, fortunately for this project, I had a lot more ‘ups’ than ‘downs’. On board was almost without effort, because riddim mainly sells,” he said.

Brown said he was extremely impressed with how effectively veteran artists communicated with him and praised their work ethic.

“Which shows that these men don’t just sing songs, they are passionate about what they do and are ready to help spread positive messages around the world through their music. Working with them has given me also gave me a feeling of being exposed, allowing me to be more motivated in my own development,” Brown said.

Brown is from the Bedward Gardens community in August Town, St Andrew. He is also an alumnus of Jamaica College.

“As long as I can remember I have been in love with music. Music, for me, is the essence of life and therefore I involve music in everything I do. Unfortunately , I have no voice, but I have the vision. Producing is what is used to project my vision across the world. I learned along the way exploring the internet, getting feedback from producers of more established music as well as artists, so that I can deepen my knowledge of the music industry and find ways to best apply myself,” he said.
