NOAH is set to release their brand new single “Stay Here” on all digital platforms on September 2. “Stay Here” was self-produced by the band, with mixing and polishing by Grammy-winning Ruadhri Cushnan.
With this latest release, NOAH indulges in all things indie-synth-pop, groovy basslines, 80s-inspired synths and an irresistible chorus, this track has it all. Among the noise, the lyrics paint a raw and honest story. The lyricist observes, confronts and comforts a friend in need, offering an unconditional and selfless wish to help without the need for recognition.
“‘Stay Here’ is a song we’ve always wanted to do, it’s musically exploratory and taps into a whole host of influences that we’ve never really shown before.” – NOAH
Irish indie rock band NOAH is made up of three lifelong friends, Ryan Hill, Adam Rooney and Ronan Hynes. NOAH was formed in January 2020, at the dawn of a global pandemic! (Excellent timing) After finishing college (BIMM Dublin and MU), the band decided to reform an old music business. Obsessed with creating something new and an unrelenting desire to be heard, a new canvas was needed. Thus, the group was inspired in its name by the biblical story of “Noah and the Ark”, the ultimate story of a new beginning.
After spending months writing, recording and developing as a band, NOAH finally released their debut single ‘Shine’ in September 2020. The track garnered a lot of press, NOAH even recorded an exclusive acoustic rendition of Shine for the radio presenter Laura Whitmore on BBC5 Live in the UK. Further interest was shown by popular Irish stations such as RTE2 FM, Spin 1038 and Corks Red Fm, making playlists and earning various spots as ‘Track of The Week’. With news spreading quickly and the press steadily growing, NOAH signed with Natasha Bents’ new Mother Artists Live Agency (Foster The People, Idles, CMAT). The group even made their first TV appearance on RTÉ Six One News to talk about their good news and their journey to date.
Last October the band released their debut EP “Echoes of the Night” produced by Grammy winner Ruadhri Cushnan and distributed by Warner Music Ireland. The EP is a dazzling project that has caught the attention of those in the international music scene, not just rock and noise genres. The past few months have also seen the group dip their toes into the UK market. Together with Lander Pr the band secured a UK regional radio show as well as their first UK TV appearance on CBBC ‘Saturday Mashup’, the guys performed live on the show and took part in games and to comedy sketches throughout. NOAH also appeared on Virgin Media Television’s 6′ O’Clock on May 27.
It’s certainly been an exciting time for NOAH, having garnered thousands of streams, sold multiple venues, signed with a major UK agency, backed The Coronas at Ulster Hall, played the main stage at Sea Sessions 2022 and announced for the main festival. Irish Electric Picnic. There is so much more to come and NOAH is excited to share it with you!
