These musicians have partnered with some of the most iconic brands and it makes sense!
Brands have harnessed the power of celebrities for as long as we can remember. From the infamous Kylie Jenner x Fit Tea collab to Charli D’Amelio x Dunkin’ Donuts, we’ve seen it all! These musicians have meaningful brand partnerships that set them apart from the rest.
Doja Cat and Taco Bell
Doja Cat is as unpredictable as it gets. The musician’s shock factor might not be the most brand-friendly, but Taco Bell decided to take the plunge! When Taco Bell removed Mexican pizza from its menu, Doja immediately took to Twitter to beg the fast food chain to bring it back.
Taco Bell fueled the fire and teamed up with Doja to heighten anticipation for the item’s return. They had her play jingles for the product on her social media accounts and even featured her in their Super Bowl ad. Doja announced the official return of Mexican Pizza at a concert at Coachella this year. Doja and Taco Bell fans can expect “Mexican Pizza: The Musical” to hit TikTok soon.
Billie Eilish and Adobe
Billie Eilish is one of today’s most beloved and innovative musicians. The artist has partnered with Adobe to inspire other creatives to “create what’s true for you.” Eilish suffers from synesthesia, a condition in which she sees colors, shapes, numbers, and smells when stimulated by music. In an Adobe ad, artists used Adobe programs to create a Photoshop file of Eilish’s “Bad Guy” song, based on its descriptions. Eilish has collaborated on numerous campaigns with Adobe, including a contest where artists competed to have their designs serve as official merchandise for Billie’s tour.
Jack Harlow and Kentucky Fried Chicken
The most recent brand partnership to shake up the marketing world is Jack Harlow and Kentucky Fried Chicken. The Jack Harlow Meal includes all of Harlow’s favorite menu items since growing up in Louisville, Kentucky. To celebrate the arrival of his meal, Harlow worked the KFC drive-thru, surprising Georgia fans while wearing full uniform. Harlow has partnered with KFC in the past to donate $250,000 to help relief efforts for citizens affected by tornadoes in Western Kentucky in 2021.
A$AP Rocky and Mercedes Benz
The new father, A$AP Rocky, is Pacsun’s first-ever guest creative director and has been a Mercedes Benz brand partner for several years. The talented rapper decided to combine the two powers for a sought-after collaboration. Rocky says the collection aims to “echo my original sentiments of creating premium products based on my love for nostalgia and heritage brands that are accessible at different price points.” Will you buy the collection?
