Manny Photo and producer J57 have teamed up to release a new single “Ashtray” via Over South/Soulspazm.

The production on “Ashtray,” engineered by J57, is a sample-less piece with crisp drumming and a vibrant atmosphere that has a certain golden age nostalgia but an updated modern feel. J57 provides the perfect backdrop for Manny’s cleverly written lyrics and laid-back yet commanding delivery.

This is the first collaborative release from the two artists who have both individually achieved strong track records throughout their musical careers.
