ENDWELL (WBNG) — Maine-Endwell Spartan Theater Company presents “Singin’ in the Rain” from April 22-24.
Actress Emily Dimock, who plays Kathy Selden, said her character was a rising star trying to make a name for herself.
“I really like this role because it’s a challenge for me. I find larger than life roles easier to play, but when you have to replicate precise human behavior, that’s what I find the harder, so it’s fun to challenge myself,” Dimock said. .
Farley said rehearsals for that production began in January.
“It was a lot of work, but it was really enjoyable,” Farley said. “It’s going well and it’s been a lot of fun.”
Dimock said his experience could be summed up in three words.
“It’s been stressful, rewarding and fun,” Dimock said.
Farley and Dimock said their favorite song on the show was “Good Morning”.
“It’s fun, it’s upbeat, and there’s some great dancing,” Farley said.
