Live Nation has acquired the concerts and entertainment division of TERO, a Thailand-based promotion and media company.
Since 1998, TERO C&E has worked on various projects involving nationwide touring, family entertainment, exhibitions, musicals and artist management in Thailand, reports MBW.
Under the new deal, Live Nation can continue to expand in Thailand “with a commitment to local Thai talent while continuing to bring top international artists to the region.”
Live Nation acquires the C&E division of TERO
In 2015, Live Nation and TERO collaborated to create Live Nation Tero – a project that promotes international concerts and festivals by Western actors and also brings regional talent to Thailand.
With this new acquisition of TERO C&E, Live Nation says Live Nation Tero is establishing itself as a “holistic company that will cover a broad slate of international and domestic music as well as family entertainment.”
Live Nation also says the acquisition “deepens” the company’s strategy to bring new events to partner brands in the region such as Mercedes, Toyota, Pepsi, Budweiser and Samsung.
TERO C&E has it all – local expertise delivering exceptional fan experiences and career growth for international and local artists. Our deep partnership with TERO will expand our presence not just in Thailand but across the region, and we look forward to bringing fans an ever-growing and incredible roster of domestic and international talent, connecting them to the magic of live.
Roger Field, President of Live Nation Asia-Pacific
