Davenport Junior Theater recently hired a familiar face as its new Mainstage Production Manager, Aaron Randolph III.
Randolph will work with new artistic director, Ashley Becher, to manage and run the shows at 2822 Eastern Ave., Davenport, according to DJT’s Facebook page. He will be the main support for the Junior Theater’s guest directors, designers and managers.
Randolph has been on over 20 productions with DJT, including as dramaturg for “The True Tale of Robin Hood”, “The Emperor’s New Clothes”, “Arthur & Merlin”, “Rumplestiltskin!” and “20,000 leagues under the sea”. He has also composed the original music for more than a dozen DJT shows and directed several productions.
Additionally, he has worked as a theater professional in various capacities at QC Theater Workshop, St. Ambrose University, Mississippi Bend Players, Curtainbox Theater Company, and more. Along with being a frequent artistic collaborator, Randolph is also a proud parent of DJT, with his son Aaron and daughter Tori having been involved in numerous productions over the past 10 years, according to DJT.
