Godlands, the Australian producer pushing the boundaries, unveils “GODSP33D”

Continuing her rise to the top, Australian producer Godlands released her ambitious four-track EP, “GODSP33D” today.

Proving his meticulous attention to detail while effortlessly mastering a niche all his own, Godlands delivers a slice of pure trapping at the heart of his artistry. From unbridled distortion on “SCUMBAG” to melodic bass sensibilities on “ALL NIGHT”, the package runs the gamut from underground, club and festival records in a hard-hitting taste of more to come this year.

Godlands shares, “Coming out of the depths of the pandemic to create this EP was something that not only scared me but also challenged me. The momentum of my life and career had changed dramatically, like everyone else. However, it allowed me to really stop and understand what I wanted and what kind of artist I wanted to be. I had the chance to perfect my techniques and learn new ones, while focusing on improving myself and my craft. This EP shows a step above what I’ve produced before and has a lot more cohesion.

Arriving with American Pride Month, the EP celebrates the queer producer’s left-field approach, with the title track that has already earned her triple j recognition Unearthed. This summer, Godlands will take “GODSP33D” on the road across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, to historic venues like Lion Arts Factory, Amnesia Nightclub, and more.
