Killer Kross, formerly known as Karrion Kross in WWE, could return to the company. Fightful Select reports that they have learned the former NXT Champion has been discussed as a name of interest for WWE to bring back to the company.
Several people in the wrestling world fully expected him to return. A source said they believe this is already in the company’s plans. Fightful only confirmed that his name was at least discussed at the end of WWE.
As previously reported, Kross recently posted a screenshot of a fan listening to his old WWE theme music and noted that they want Kross back in the company. Many took that as expressing his interest in a comeback.
There had been rumors that Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux had been booked for an ROH appearance at Supercard of Honor before Tony Khan called on the company. However, Khan later dismissed this and noted that the pair were never booked for the show.

Kross was contacted to work a match against Wardlow on Dynamite but passed on the offer. Since his release from WWE last year, he has worked for NJPW and MLW.
While in NXT under the guidance of Triple H, Kross was booked as a top star and quickly recovered from the fans. However, once called up to the main roster, Vince McMahon rewrapped him multiple times before letting him go.
With Triple H in charge of creation, it seems more likely that Kross has the idea of returning to WWE.
