Creatives and SMEs go head-to-head at AfCFTA’s Product Brand Hackathon

The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) has invited African small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups in the manufacturing sector as well as creatives to participate in a brand competition aimed at boosting their businesses.

The Brand Hackathon was launched on April 29 to mark the AfCFTA’s third anniversary.

In a statement seen by the business dailyAfCFTA Secretary General, Wamkele Mene, and AfCFTA Champion, Former President of Niger, Mahamadou Issoufou, challenged African SMEs and startups to seize the opportunity and participate in the hackathon.

“The AfCFTA warmly invites SMEs/Startups to the product manufacturing space, as well as brand artists and other brand creators who can help these SMEs refresh their product brand identity to drive sales. , to participate in the Hackathon,” the statement read.
