Charlie Mitchell will release his first single under Grammy Award-winning producer Narada Michael Walden on May 3.

by Charlie Mitchell his YouTube cover’s rendition of Billie Eilish’s song “When The Party’s Over” caught the music producer’s ear Narada Michael Walden after another artist he produces saw the young crooner on Instagram and brought him to the attention of legendary producers.

Walden, known for producing 57 No. 1 hits, including his productions of Whitney Houston, george michaelBarbra Streisand, Mariah Carey and the list goes on, also produced the Whitney Houston vehicle soundtrack “The Bodyguard”, which remains the best-selling soundtrack of all time.

“Charlie is a prodigy. This new song brings hope, and it is truly dedicated to the loss of our loved ones. It was written in a very interesting way, with the first verse speaking from the point of view of the one who lost someone, and the second verse and the bridge spoken by that lost loved one to you… even after,” Walden says.

The single, entitled “Even After”, is in pre-sale on iTunes on April 20andand distributed on radio via Play MPE in 22 countries, including United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealandand more than 18 Latin American countries on May 3rd. A link to the iTunes presale link will be added to Mitchell’s website at April 20.

“The song will be distributed through Europe as well as shortly thereafter,” says Walden.

Mitchell, who was born and lives on the Golden Coast in Australiaworking on new material with Walden and the album’s executive producers, Jesse Stenger and Brian Evans, who co-wrote the soon-to-be-released new song. Mitchell created the melody for the song.

“The way Charlie can perform a song at just 16, so naturally, is something you just don’t see every day. By the time I heard it, we agreed he was a superstar in become,” Walden said.

Charlie Mitchellbefore being produced by Walden, performed publicly on sidewalks and at private events.

Mitchell is already preparing new recordings to be produced by Walden, with the executive producers also co-writing.

“This is just the beginning. There’s a lot more to come,” says Walden.
