Berghain presents its newest resident, Fadi Mohem – News

Berghain has announced that their newest resident will be heading to the club next month, Fadi Mohem.

On August 20, Berghain will welcome Fadi on stage for his first residency concert alongside Nene H, Robert Hood, Âme and many more for Klubnacht. The DJ and producer is the next to join the club as a resident after news of additions including Lakuti and Sedef Adasi.

Berghain’s Ostgut Booking announced the news on social media yesterday, July 25, confirming: “A very warm welcome to one of Berlin’s freshest faces – Fadi Mohem joins the Ostgut Booking agency list.”

Growing up in Berlin, Fadi Mohem was a staple of the city’s club scene with influence from classic Detroit techno, Berlin dub techno, drum ‘n’ bass and IDM. Alongside his new residency at the iconic club, Fadi continues to work closely with the hard wax institution of vinyl.

“Having played in various international clubs over the past decade, he continues to push himself as a DJ with informed selections and technical finesse as well as a live act with ever-changing hardware-only setups,” added Ostgut on Facebook.

“His productions and sets are united by a constant search for groove, flow, reduction and repetition and follow the desire to surrender only to the music. Instead of following trends, Fadi Mohem always seeks to realize his own sound ideas and stay true to his musical vision.

Today, Fadi Mohem has also taken the reins of the next AR Podcast. Sitting at 90 minutes, Fadi’s mix incorporates tracks from artists such as aya, Truncate, DJ Deeon, and more.
