Beckham ‘encourages’ kids to continue family ‘brand’ – but they’re ‘not pushy’

Power couple David and Victoria Beckham hope the Beckham brand will continue for years to come with the help of their children, sources say OK!.

The couple are parents to Brooklyn, 22, Romeo, 19, Cruz, 17, and Harper Seven, 10.

In recent years we’ve seen the older kids start to make their own moves in the entertainment industry and after aspiring singer Cruz made headlines with his latest photoshoot, OK! can reveal that Posh and Becks are hoping their kids will continue “Brand Beckham.”

They told us, “Cruz just did a shoot for a magazine and he wants to be a singer. He’s got real talent.

“He’s been singing since he was young.”

“Romeo is a very good model, as well as a good tennis player,” they added, before explaining why it is difficult to say which avenue the eldest of David and Victoria, Brooklyn, will choose.

“Brooklyn changes his mind a lot. He was in photography and now he’s focused on being a chef,” the source continued.

“But all the boys are fine – and that extends that Beckham mark.”

It is believed that David and Victoria recognize talent when they see it and “encourage” their children to achieve their dreams.

“They’re not pushy parents, but they’ve spotted talent in their kids and they’re encouraging it,” the source explained.

“Cruz is probably the one to make it big and keep the Beckham name afloat.”

OK! approached reps for David and Victoria for comment.

Cruz previously pursued a football career like his famous dad, but has now decided he wants to follow in mum Victoria’s footsteps.

“I thought I would like to play football and I did for a while,” the star, who has signed with Arsenal in the past, revealed in an interview with ID Magazine.

“At that point, I just decided: this is exactly what I want to do.”

Back in November, Cruz first teased his interest in pursuing a music career like his Spice Girls mom by sharing two photos of himself singing in a studio.

The 17-year-old recently worked with producer and songwriter Poo Bear in Miami – who has helped create tracks for Justin Bieber and Usher over the years.

Speaking about his inspirations in the industry, Cruz admitted, “My favorite musical artist has to be Frank Ocean, I really look up to him. He’s such a sick person.

“But I’m a huge fan of Billie Eilish. I love her music, I love her style and I would love to take her out on a date. So Billie, you know where I’m at.”
