A pub with the ‘best staff in the world’ near Bristol could be crowned the best in Britain

A charming pub near Bristol has been selected as one of the best in the South West – and could have a shot at winning a national title.

Along with The Ostrich pub in the town, The Old Kings Head in Worle has been selected as Somerset’s representative in the National Pub & Bar Awards. The venue less than an hour’s drive from Bristol is famous for its roast dinners with a huge range of local ciders.

With a great beer garden, live music and sports, the pub has been in the family for over thirty years. The Old Kings Head prides itself on offering true Somerset character in a traditional village setting, reports Somerset Live. They also offer regular charity quiz nights, video horse racing nights, bingo nights and performances by Somerset’s top Chalice Morris Men.
